According to the latest data from China Customs, in the first quarter of 2012, the total import and export reached 859.37 billion USD, rising 7.3% from the same period last year. Of which, the export were 430.02 billion USD, rising 7.6%; import 429.35 billion USD, rising 6.9%.

Of which, the garment export in first three months reached 29.57 billion USD, rising 3.9% year on year; textile export reached 20.44 billion USD, rising 1.4%.
